F-187 -aka the Fish Killa

Jason Zawadzki

From just hanging out and having fun, getting in some exercise, serious fishing or downriver rapid riding this inflatable board is a blast!

All Hydrus ISUP's rolls up to the size of a sleeping bag and stows away in less than a 2 minutes and inflates in less than 5 and they come with our beautiful backpack style board bag, the "Bag Lover's Board Bag".   Perfect for hikes, family trips, you can throw it in the trunk of a small car, you can fly with it on an airplane. Just store it away when it's not in use in a closet or on a shelf in the garage -takes up hardly any room at all!

At a STABLE 11'6" by 34" wide fully inflated and 6" thick from tip to tail this board is a serious fisherman's dream or river paddlers' who would love the chance to tackle some of those larger rapids that may not even be possible on a smaller SUP.   Or it's the perfect fun family board that everyone can enjoy!

The D-rings all over the place!  Situated along the entire perimeter of this board are nice for strapping down a cooler that could also be used as a seat while fishing, along with attaching your stringers and any other gear you can think of. There are 2 extra large D-rings at the fore and aft of this board for anchor lines or mooring to a dock.

This board is so buoyant and so stable that 2 or even 3 people of assorted sizes can quite comfortably fish off of it at the same time. ...

  • Bring your favorite paddle board with you on vacation anywhere there is water!!
  • No need for roof racks or extra garage storage!
  • As stiff and more stable than most fiberglass epoxy boards.

A high quality inflatable SUP is lighter, more durable and generally less expensive than any standard epoxy board and even comparable in durability to our Armalight™ boards. Hydrus Board Tech ISUP's are constructed using special fabrics and techniques that allow for ultra-high pressure which keeps all of our inflatable boards as rigid as an epoxy board. The exterior fabric is the same stuff used to make those hard-core whitewater rafts, so you know it's going to hold up even if your kids decide to chase Sea Gulls into rocks.

Yeah, we had to call it our Helium Series so we could print "Helium" on the side rail -It makes us smile every time someone asks us if our board is filled with helium! However, considering it's large volume and extreme buoyancy these boards are extremely light -it's as if they were filled with Helium!

High Quality vs. Low-Quality Paddle Board:

Don't go cheap especially when it comes to an inflatable!! ...There is a big difference between a quality ISUP vs. a cheaply built one. Due to the difference of materials used in the construction of a high-quality board versus a cheap board, a quality board can be inflated to a much higher pressure, ours are capable of 31psi.  Seams can fail on cheap boards at 10psi and they rarely last over a single season - whereas ours could last a lifetime!  Always look for a board that is capable of inflation to at least 30psi - even if you don't inflate your board quite this high during use a higher pressure rating is a testament to quality. ...and don't go cheap just to save a buck because it won't last, you'll have major stability issues and it will be slow in the water because your feet will be pushing down the middle of the board. You may have seen cheap inflatables fold or buckle in the middle (called "taco-ing") under the rider's feet.

Skill Level: Beginner to Pro and everyone in between!
Ideal Water Conditions: All around board, Flat to Medium Swell or Chop, Lakes to Oceans to Rivers

All Hydrus ISUP's are factory pressure tested at 31psi.  Because of the higher quality materials used in construction, our boards are naturally stiffer at lower pressures so normally a rider will inflate between 10psi-15psi depending on conditions and personal preference.

A maximum pressure of 15psi is all that would ever generally be necessary for a Hydrus ISUP.   Most riders choose between 10-15psi depending on personal preference.
