King DUB 2.0 Whitewater River SUP
KING DUB 2.0 - Whitewater River SUP
Because of the high degree of difficulty in whitewater paddleboarding, there are certain traits that are needed in a whitewater board. So much of River Running is sensory which becomes instinctual and automatic when you're on a board that works with you on the river.
...Introducing the world's first and foremost KING DUB 2.0. The high volume shed deck keep water off and pops the board out of holes. The full rails along with other features aid in stability.
This board will perform in ways that an inflatable cannot! Secondary stability is out of this world and it surfs well too!
The recessed center fin allows you to slide over rocks.
Designed for performance, it's a blend of max stability and surf-ability.
The bottom channel and contours aid in secondary stability, speed, surfing performance and extreme rock hitting fin avoidance!
The size: At 9'8" we have found this to be the perfect length for a combination of speed, direction, maneuverability, surf-ability and overall river play. The width at 34" is the max width we'd recommend if you want to be able to maintain proper paddling form.

Hydrus was born from the idea to build boards that create the best user experience possible for the riding styles that we are passionate about ourselves.
Our shaping and design style has always been high-performance durability with no waste, unnecessary frills or pointless features.
We are devoted to delivering maximum value to your investment with the most open and helpful customer service possible! No cutting corners and no customer left behind.
In 2013, we set out to build a few boards out of a small shop in Eagle, Idaho for ourselves to take down some of Idaho's whitewater rivers. It wasn't long until we had a list of friends and family who wanted us to build them boards as well.
We realized that if we set up our shop, invented our technologies and became as efficient as possible, then we could deliver our high-quality boards at even better prices. Thus, Hydrus was born.
Today our commitment is to continue building boards the way we always have and to always take care of those who take care of us!
Even though our material costs are higher, below are the key reasons our prices are still right in your wheelhouse.
•We use our own technologies.
•We keep our overhead low.
•We utilize small business efficiency, run as clean as possible and have very little waste.
•We maintain a low marketing budget and rely on referrals and positive reviews.
•We pass the savings on to you.
If we can help each other, we like to say, everyone gets the "friends and family" price. More people get to own better boards and our community and the sports we love grow stronger.
The only way you are going to get to truly appreciate the love and care we put into our products is to try them out for yourself!
If your buy one of our boards or other gear and it doesn't noticably make your life better in some way or if you aren't completely satisfied with the craftsmanship and performance, we will help you ship it back and give you 100% of your money back - just a thanks for giving it a shot!
So long as the item purchased doesn't show abnormal signs of wear and tear, and it's within 30-days of your purchase receipt and/or delievery reciept, we will offer you the choice of a 100% refund or 110% in-store credit towards a different product of your choice.
Outside of the United States and certain territories of Canada, we are unable to cover return shipping due to prohibitive costs. Hydrus will always work with customers in any region to ensure that the board they recieve is free of defect and shipping damage.

Armalight Care and Tips
All Armalight boards are lovingly hand-made by us right here in the USA. So, a slight variance in weight and appearance is natural; i.e., each board has its very own "personality". Individual board weights may vary +/-3lbs. This variance will not affect performance. Boards on the heavier side will be quite a bit more durable and may carry speed better in between paddle strokes.
Nothing is indestructable. Armalight boards are just better. We could make a board bulletproof but it would be far too heavy. We aim for a balance of durability and weight depending on the boards' purpose and the rider's preference.
A slightly textured surface relieves surface tension caused by the viscosity of water, allowing an object to move through more freely. Our matte finish emulates high-tech watercraft to have the fastest surface texture possible.
Threats to any SUP include; standing on boards while on dry land, over-tightening hold-down straps and too much heat without a board cover.
Repairs to Armalight can be easier that repairing fiberglass or plastic. Contact us, and we will be happy to guide you through your first.
Like all high-quality foam core boards, you need to be aware of too much heat. EPS foam has a softening point of around 190F Degrees. This temperature can be reached if your board is left to "bake" in the sun uncovered. Too much radiant heat from the top of a vehicle can be especially dangerous. Be aware of reflected and radiant heat.
We highly recommend one of our Heat Shield Board Covers. Insulated board bags are okay. We do not reommend board socks.
