Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Hydrus Board Tech is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe paddleboarding is for everybody, and our online experience should reflect that.
Standard We Work Toward
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, an internationally recognized standard for digital accessibility. We are continuously working to improve our website's accessibility and usability for users of assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control.
Features Built for Accessibility
Semantic HTML structure across product, collection, cart, and checkout pages.
Keyboard navigation support — every interactive element on the storefront is reachable and usable without a mouse.
Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
Alt text on product imagery and editorial images.
Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements against their backgrounds.
ARIA labels on icon-only controls (cart, account, search).
Form labels and error messages tied to their inputs for screen-reader announcement.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible:
Third-party embeds (reviews widgets, chat, marketing forms) are governed by their own accessibility implementations and may not match our internal standard. We work with vendors who prioritize accessibility, but we don't control their code.
Some marketing imagery and video assets may lack full transcripts or audio descriptions. We're working to add these.
PDF documents (when used) may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
Alternate Formats
If you need information from our website in an alternate format — a printable receipt, a phone-call walkthrough of a product spec, an emailed summary instead of an in-page reader — reach out to crew@hydrusboardtech.com and we'll help.
Reporting an Accessibility Issue
If you encounter a barrier on our website — a page that doesn't work with your screen reader, a form you can't complete, an interactive element you can't reach — please tell us. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Email: crew@hydrusboardtech.com

Please include the URL of the page where you encountered the issue, the assistive technology you were using (if any), and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve issues as quickly as we can.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add features, redesign pages, and integrate new tools, we will continue testing and improving the experience. This statement will be reviewed and updated as our practices evolve.
