The Everyday Paddle (Bundle Add-On)

Every board needs a paddle. This is the one you'll never have to baby.

The Everyday's blade is nylon polymer, fiber-reinforced, and close to indestructible. Push off rocks, brace on the bottom, hand it to the kids, loan it to a friend. Things we'd tell you not to do with our carbon Tough Blade are no problem at all with this one. And unlike most tough, low-cost paddles, we didn't throw away the performance to get there.

You get the same sealed lever-lock adjustment as our carbon Tough Blade, with an alignment slot so blade and handle line up straight every time. A carbon and fiberglass shaft that stays light and flexes right. A real fiberglass handle. And it floats, which a surprising number of nylon paddles don't.

It packs into three pieces, drops into your board bag, and adjusts from 65 to 83 inches, so it fits everyone who rides your board. One honest tradeoff to know. A polymer blade flexes where carbon stays stiff, which is what makes it so durable, and it gives back a little energy on each stroke. Maximum durability, not maximum efficiency. If you want more efficiency, step up to the Tough Blade Carbon. If you have plenty of experience, paddle often, and want the highest performance possible, that's the Ruckus. To get on the water with a paddle you can trust and never worry about, this is the easy one to add.

Quick Answers

Common Questions About This One.

At the bundle price it's the easy way to make sure your board shows up ready to paddle. It's a genuinely good nylon paddle, not a throwaway, so it isn't a placeholder you'll want to replace right away. If you later decide you want maximum efficiency, the carbon Tough Blade and Ruckus are there when you're ready.
Yes, that's the point. The nylon blade won't chip or crack from rock strikes, shallow-water bracing, or the abuse a beginner or a kid puts a paddle through. These are things we tell you not to do with our carbon Tough Blade. With this one, do them freely.
The adjustment collar is held by two small machine screws, the same size we use on our carbon Tough Blade. Every so often, check that they're snug. If you ever find one has backed out, just tighten it back down until it's secure, and a drop of semi-permanent thread glue like Loctite keeps it that way. If you ever lose one, they're easy to replace: 4mm x 10mm stainless steel machine screws, available at any hardware store. A small head is ideal, a larger standard head works too, and a length up to 12mm is fine if 10mm isn't handy. Text the Crew at (208) 408-1997 if you need a hand.
