Everything You Need to Know.
In 3 Minutes.
Who this board is for. Who it is not for. What makes it different. No script. No hype. Just a paddler talking straight.
The board we hand a friend.
The JoyRide is the board we hand a friend who has never paddled before. The first 30 minutes feel sustainable, not survivable. Lively enough you will not outgrow it after one good season.
Built from the same Armalight Air construction we use on every Hydrus inflatable. FusionWeave Dropstitch core, multi-layer welded PVC, triple-reinforced tail. The JoyRide holds 12 to 15 PSI for a feel that approaches hardboard rigidity. It tracks straight on lakes and calm rivers.
Where it sits in the lineup: the JoyRide is the lighter-paddler all-around. If you are over 235 lbs or want a yoga platform with extra deck space, look at the JoyRide XL. If you are paddling whitewater or distance, the AXIS or Paradise siblings handle those jobs better.
Backed by our limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects and a 60-day on-water trial. If the JoyRide is not the right board for your water, we will tell you so and point you at the right one.

Their boards. Their water. Their words.
Photos from Hydrus owners across the lineup. Their boards. Their words. Their water.

It is super durable and sturdy. I feel completely at ease in the ocean waves or the shallow waters of the mangroves.

Payette lake is notorious for its waves and wind. This board is extremely stable and handle the water like no other.

First trip out was down silver springs to see manatee, river otter, blue tilapia and SO much other wildlife.

I bought it because I was looking for something durable for my large size (6'4", 300lbs). I have to say I am EXTREMELY happy with it.

First iSUP I’ve owned and it’s phenomenal. I spent over 40 hours researching various boards and was referred to Hydrus by a reputable blogger.

INCREDIBLE board. This iSup was made to be super stable, but also has speed too!

The Hydrus Paradise tracks and glides very well for an inflatable paddle board. It's easy to sprint between 5-6 mph on flat water.

It's fast, and surprisingly stable once I got used to narrower profile.
