Race Division Riptide Carbon Fin
The Riptide is our touring and race fin built for paddlers who chase miles, not just sprints. 9.25 inch depth, 280 cm² of surface, 30T pre-preg carbon, ~200g. It anchors your line and reduces correction strokes when conditions get messy.
The rake profile is the difference. Most race fins choke on weeds, kelp, and floating grass. The Riptide's swept-back geometry sheds debris without stalling. You glide clean through sections that stop other paddlers cold.
Compared to the Katana, the Riptide carries about 20 percent more surface area and a deeper foil. That extra blade is more drive for heavier paddlers, longer boards, or loaded touring setups (cooler, dry bag, dog on deck). Click-in fin box.
